I had the pleasure of being a resident of ESH for a month. It was a nice place to be, situated in the countryside, it was a nice environment for me to relax and come to terms with my issues.
All the staff are extremely helpful, always there to listen and advise.
Nothing was too much for them in regards to my recovery.
All the educational classes ran were extremely helpful and gave me a huge insight into my addiction issue and more importantly gave me tools to deal with something that I had been struggling with for many years.
Out of class activities were extremely inclusive and gave me the opportunity to do things that I would not normally do. From someone who hardly ate when I came into ESH, all meals provided were nutritious and encouraged me to eat in a healthy and grateful manner.
The building and schedule of works was a fantastic environment for me to begin to rebuild my life.
I would recommend ESH to anyone struggling with addiction as I did, and now being on the otherside I am very grateful for everything ESH gave me.
I thank ESH for giving me my life back
